Eine süße Geschichte über die erste große Liebe. Ich denke dieses Buch dürfte jedem Teeniemädchen gefallen und auch die älteren werden es mögen. Bin gespannt auf den Film.
Ich habe erst den Film gesehen (7 Mal in der Letzte Woche) Das Buch habe ich für 2 Tage gelesen. Ich habe so lange so ein Buch nicht gelesen! Ich kann es weiter empfehlen.
***3,5***Erster Eindruck:Ich hab im Vorfeld den Film gesehen und gefeiert und war auf Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten zum Film gespannt.Fazit: Dramaqueen ElleVorab: Ich habe das Buch als Leseexemplar vom cbt Verlag bekommen im Austausch für eine offene und ehrliche Meinung zum Buch.Das Cover ist, wie die neuere Version aus dem englischen, mit den Darstellern des Films geschmückt. Es ist ganz gut gemacht, aber nicht wirklich was besonders und dem Gerne entsprechend.Die Geschichte wird aus der Perspektive von Elle von einem Ich -Erzähler erzählt. Wie viele von euch wissen, mag ich diese Art des Erzählens am liebsten. Auch in diesem Buch zeigt sich wieder, das ein Wechsel der Protagonisten oder ein Er-/Sie- /Es- Erzähler bei weitem nicht dieses Ergebnis hätte liefern können. Man hat einfach einen guten Draht dazu, was Elle denkt und fühlt. Wörter und Sachverhalte sind klar und ohne großartige Schwierigkeiten zu erkennen. Die Übersetzer haben wirklich gute Arbeit geleistet. Das Buch lässt sich ohne Probleme fließend lesen. Wenn ihr noch keine Ahnung habt, welches Buch ihr in den Urlaub mitnehmen könnte, das hier wäre ein Kandidat dafür. Durch das leichte lesen und die sommerliche Atmosphäre, kann man sehr gut abschalten.Viele kennen die Story schon durch den Film, aber für all diejenigen, denen die Handlung nicht bekannt ist, ein kleiner Überblick. Elle ist am selben Tag wie Lee geboren, im selben Krankenhaus und die Mütter beider waren beste Freunde. So tun es auch Lee und Elle gleich und werden die besten Freunde, können über alles reden und sind praktisch unzertrennlich. Bis Elle der Kopf von Noah verdreht wird, der kein geringerer ist, als der Bruder von Lee.Die Geschichte hat alles, was ein Teenie-Drama braucht. Liebe, Freundschaft, ein großes Problem, Familie und Schule. Ich fand die Geschichte im Buch leider etwas langatmiger, als sie es im Film war. Zumal ich die Problemstellung stellenweise zu übertrieben fand oder bin ich einfach nur zu alt, um es richtig zu begreifen ?Elle war wirklich eine schwere Kost in dem Buch. Ich fand es teilweise ziemlich krass, was sie da für ein Drama um Dinge gemacht hat, die mit einem ernsten Gespräch vorab durchaus niemals so sehr ins negative gerutscht wären. Auch dieses flippige fand ich übertrieben. Der Charakter der Elle hat mir im Film sehr viel besser gefallen und mit ihr konnte ich dann auch mehr anfangen. Im Buch war sie mir stellenweise einfach zu anstrengend durch ihre Art, nichts zu erzählen.Bei Lee war genau das Gegenteil der Fall. Er war, im Gegensatz zum Film. Sehr viel besonnener und natürlich reagierender als der Lee aus dem Film. Besonders die Anspielungen mit Noah und Elle am Anfang und im Verlauf der Geschichte machen deutlich, dass er nicht gekränkt gewesen wäre oder so was, wenn Elle mal mit ihm gesprochen hätte.Noah ist und bleibt einfach ein Bad Boy. Im Film fand ich ihn noch ein bisschen heißer, was wohl am Schauspieler lag. Eigentlich war er im Film so wie im Buch recht gleich aufgezogen. Seine Probleme und seine Charakterzüge wurde im Film übernommen. Das einzige, was mir im Buch dann doch besser gefallen hat, ist die Ausführlichkeit seiner Probleme ,was z.B. die Wahl der Uni oder den Druck von Daheim betrifft.Insgesamt finde ich, dass das Buch ein netter Zusatz zum Film ist. Falls man den Film noch nicht gesehen hat, sollte man unbedingt erst das Buch lesen, denn der Film wirkt an manchen stellen doch wirklich recht aus der Luft gegriffen (z.B. das erste Mal).Wem würde ich das Buch empfehlen ?:Wer Geschichten wie „ To all the boys I've loved before“ oder im allgemeinen gerne Teenie-Dramas liest, der wird sich mit dem Buch sehr gut unterhalten fühlen. Erotikfans können mit dem Buch so gut wie nichts anfangen.

Man bekommt eine visuelle Vorstellung von den Hauptprotagonisten, wobei ich natürlich sofort die Filmgesichter vor Augen hatte. Man kommt mit Leichtigkeit voran und durch den Humor, den uns Beth Reekles vermittelt, entstehen kleine Schmunzler.„Er hat jemanden ohne guten Grund verletzt. Hör nicht auf, sauer auf ihn zu sein, nur weil er dich mit diesem Blick ansieht und du ihn küssen willst.“ZUR STORY – Worum geht es in dem Buch? Es geht um Elle, die ihren besten Freund schon ihr ganzes Leben lang kennt. Gemeinsam müssen sie für eine Schulveranstaltung eine Attraktion planen. Einige Ideen später, nachdem die meisten schon verplant sind, haben sie endlich die Idee, welche alles verändert. Elle plant alles gemeinsam mit Lee. Natürlich versuchen sie die Mitschüler teilweise mit unfairen Mitteln zu locken, indem sie vorgeben, dass die angesagtesten Boys und Girls an ihrer Aktion mitwirken. Dabei denkt Elle nicht einmal im Traum daran, dass auch sie irgendwann einen Platz im Kissing Booth ergattern würde. Was eher ungewollt war, endet damit, dass sie plötzlich Noah gegenübersteht. Er ist nicht nur der „Bad Boy“ (wobei ich ihn nicht als diesen empfinde), sondern auch noch Lees älterer Bruder, für den sie schon eine ganze Weile schwärmt. Doch, was ist mit dem Freundschaftskodex zwischen Elle und Lee?Ich habe mir das Buch geholt, weil mir der Film und die Geschichte gut gefallen haben. Normalerweise lese ich eher ein Buch, bevor ich mir den Film schaue, dieses Mal war es umgekehrt. Nicht alles, was im Buch steht, wird detailliert im Film gezeigt, was aber zu erwarten war. Ein Großteil kam mir jedoch bereits bekannt vor. Womit ich allerdings nicht gerechnet habe und was für mich deshalb ziemlich überraschend war, ist das Ende des Buches. Warum bitte endet es so stark abweichend? Ich muss ehrlich gestehen, dass mir das Ende im Film definitiv lieber ist und somit die letzten Seiten des Buches eher … überflüssig erscheinen.„Ja, das Herz will, was das Herz eben will.Nur dass das hier keine Herzensangelegenheit war.“Dieses Buch ist eine locker leichte Sommerlektüre. Nicht unbedingt eine Geschichte mit Tiefgang, dafür mit ganz viel Liebe und die Verbindung zweier Menschen, die sich schon ihr ganzes Leben lang kennen. Es zeigt uns, dass Freundschaft wichtig ist, man aber auch auf sein Herz hören soll und verzeihen muss. Die Liebe kennt keine Regeln und die erste große Liebe schon gar nicht.FAZIT – The Kissing Booth ist eine gelungene Geschichte für zwischendurch. Wie schon der Film, ist auch dieses Buch einfach zuckersüß. Es geht um die erste Liebe und um beste Freundschaft, um das Erwachsenwerden. Wer auf sommerliche Teenager-Romanzen steht, dem kann ich dieses Buch nur wärmstens empfehlen. Von mir bekommt dieses Schätzchen 4 von 5 Flüstersterne.
