Gemeinsam mit ihrem Dad hat sie seit ihrer Kindheit das Klettern für sich entdeckt und diese Leidenschaft auch in den französischen Alpen fortgesetzt.Rose ist eher etwas kratzbürstig, doch davon abgesehen eine unglaublich fürsorgliche Person. Sie kümmert sich um alle anderen, weshalb sie auch schon früh in die Fußstapfen ihrer Mutter getreten und ebenfalls Krankenschwester geworden ist.Eliza liebt Angus und die Musik. Obwohl sie weiß, dass sie Angus eigentlich als erste getroffen hat, tritt sie für Phoebe einen Schritt zurück und kämpft nicht für ihr Glück. Stattdessen sucht sie ihren Frieden in der Musik. Als Straßenmusikerin schlägt sie sich durch und versucht so glücklich zu werden.Die Handlung ist interessant gestaltet worden. Regelmäßig wechseln die Erzählperspektiven und die zeitliche Abfolge. Ohne Kennzeichnung kann es manchmal schwierig sein, den passenden Part zu entdecken, weshalb einiges an Konzentration abverlangt wird. Ansonsten dreht sich in diesem Roman halt alles um die Drillinge, die versuchen, ihr Glück zu finden.Da die Erzählung einen sehr tragischen Aspekt beinhaltet, wird die Geschichte nicht unbedingt rosa-rot beschrieben. Dennoch wirkt es durchweg positiv und hinterlässt am Ende einen zufriedenen Eindruck.Gutes Werk, mit kleinen Schwächen…Mein persönliches Fazit:Was für ein Cover! Damit hat mich der Verlag direkt begeistert, denn ich wusste sofort, dass ich das Buch einfach lesen muss! Das ist erst mein zweites Werk von Paige Toon und ich habe mir sagen lassen, dass es durchaus bessere Romane von ihr geben soll. Doch so schlecht möchte ich das Buch überhaupt nicht bewerten, denn es hat mich durchaus gut unterhalten.Leider hat die Autorin mich durch ihre Zeitsprünge ein wenig zu sehr verwirrt und ich hätte mir hier ein paar Hinweise gewünscht, doch davon abgesehen, bietet die Geschichte eine sehr lebendige und emotionale Handlung. Die Charaktere und ihre Schicksale sind mir nahgegangen und ich habe mit ihnen mitgefiebert. Bis zum Schluss habe ich auf ein Happy End gehofft und konnte deshalb das Buch auch nicht an die Seite legen. Da ich mich durchweg unterhalten gefühlt habe und mich die Geschichte bewegt und berührt hat, kann ich das Buch gerne weiterempfehlen. Vielleicht wird es jetzt Zeit für mich, auch die anderen Bücher von Paige Toon zu lesen? Meine Vorfreude ist gewiss.
Ich habe ein kostenloses Exemplar dieses Buches im Rahmen einer Leserunde erhalten. Dies hat keinen Einfluss auf meine Rezension. Wer meine Rezensionen kennt, weiß das. ;-)Mit „Nur in dich verliebt“ habe ich mich als Thriller-Fan in ein neues Genre gewagt. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Nach diesem Buch muss ich sagen, ich verstehe den Erfolg von Paige Toon. Ihr Schreibstil überzeugt in voller Breite. Die verschiedenen Erzählperspektiven (jeweils aus Sicht der drei Schwestern) ist definitiv gut für den Plot. Dieser an sich ist in diesem Buch bereits sehr ausgereift und hat mich überzeugt. Ich dachte immer, Liebesromane plätschern so vor sich hin. Doch das ist hier nicht der Fall. Von Thrillern bin ich ja nun die eine oder andere überraschende Wendung gewohnt, aber die Wendung in diesem Buch hat mich eiskalt erwischt.Wer so einen Roman liest und kein happy End erwartet, der ist natürlich am falschen Platz. Obwohl ich ja zu 100 Prozent damit gerechnet habe, hat mich dieses vermeintliche „happy End“ sehr zufrieden gestellt. Man hat das Buch zugeschlagen und es war gut so, wie es war. Trotz aller Geschehnisse…Paige Toon hat mir mit diesem Buch die „Angst“ vor Liebesromanen genommen. Ich wurde hervorragend unterhalten. Und ich kann mich der Beschreibung nur anschließen: Dieser Roman ist aufwühlend, mitreißend und romantisch. Besser kann man es nicht beschreiben.
Der Anfang hat mir ganz gut gefallen. Eineiige Drillinge, die sich ähneln wie ein Ei dem anderen, aber vom Charakter sehr unterschiedlich sind. Alle drei Mädchen verlieben sich in den Nachbarsjungen. Ist da nicht Streit zwischen den Mädels vorprogrammiert und was ist mit dem Jungen? Kann er sich für eines der Mädchen entscheiden?Geschrieben wird in der Ich-Perspektive aus der Sicht des jeweiligen Drillings. Da die Kapitel immer mit dem Namen der Erzählenden überschrieben ist, kann man ganz gut den Überblick behalten. Irritierend fand ich einige Zeitsprünge, die im ersten Augenblick nicht zu erkennen waren. Hier wäre ein kurzer Hinweis wie z. B. 2 Jahre später oder so, gut gewesen.Auch wenn es mittendrin eine überraschende Wendung gab, so war der Rest doch ziemlich vorhersehbar.Die Sprache ist einfach und der Schreibstil flüssig und angenehm zu lesen. Die Handlungen sind für die jeweiligen Charaktere angemessen.Insgesamt eine nette Geschichte, deren Potential meiner Meinung nach nicht ausgeschöpft wurde. Mehr als drei Sterne sind aus meiner Sicht daher nicht drin.
Paige Toon hat mit "Nur in dich verliebt" ein unterhaltsamen, tragisch, liebevollen und familiären Roman kreiert. Drei Schwestern, eineiige Drillinge, verlieben sich in ein und den selben Mann.Die Geschichte wird aus der Sicht von Rose, Eliza und Pheobe erzählt. Ganz langsam führt uns die Autorin in die Gefühlswelt der Schwestern. Es war spannend zu sehen, wer welche Gefühle hat und wie die Frauen damit umgehen. Denn trotz ihres gleichen Aussehens sind sie doch total unterschiedlich. Schön war für mich auch die individuellen Beziehungen zwischen den Eltern zu ihren Töchtern. Für mich war es mehr eine Geschichte über die drei Schwestern als ein reiner Liebesroman. Leider wird zwischen verschiedenen Lebensphasen hin und her gesprungen und mir war manchmal nicht klar, in welcher Zeit wir uns befinden. Am Ende wird der Kreis indessen geschlossen. Dennoch hätte ich mir einen anderen Verlauf der Geschichte gewünscht. Fazit: Ein erstaunlich melancholischer, einfühlsamer und herzerwärmender Roman, über drei Schwestern, die ihr Glück bei ein und dem selben Mann suchen.Â
